Reports to:         Chancellor, Diocese of Venice in Florida

 

Location:             Venice Florida

 

Summary

This position supports the Chancellor of the Diocese of Venice in Florida, an organization with over 1600 employees in 83 various locations.  This position demands a highly organized individual who has experience working with a C-Suite executive in a formal setting.  This position performs a variety of administrative tasks to facilitate the executive’s ability to effectively lead a diverse organization and constituency.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represents the highest level of individual in the organization
  • Understands the importance of strictest confidentiality
  • Uses discretion regarding disclosure and dissemination of sensitive issues
  • Has impeccable business acumen
  • Possesses excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Is a quick learner and is studious in process
  • Arranging travel both international and domestic
  • Maintains calendar and understands swift changes in schedule
  • Is highly organized, neat and uncluttered
  • Recognizes the importance of precise work
  • Ability to work in a team environment with two other administrative assistants

 

Qualifications

  • Eight to ten years of experience supporting a senior level executive in a complex environment
  • Proficiency in word processing, correspondence drafting, database management, Microsoft Office Suite.  Ability to use keyboard with speed and accuracy.
  • Highly effective time management skills
  • Multicultural and age diverse sensitivity
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish desired

 

Specifics:

  • Must be a member of the Catholic Church
  • No relocation
