Bishop Frank J. Dewane is grateful to all who have participated in the Diocese’s events in support of the National Eucharistic Revival, called for by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to revive reverence for and belief in The Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist. In March of 2025, nearly 2,000 of the Diocese’s faithful attended a day-long Eucharistic Conference in Punta Gorda, featuring Dr. Scott Hahn as the keynote speaker. The 2025 event, “Becoming Eucharistic Missionaries,” marked the third and final year of the National Eucharistic Revival, the Year of Mission, as well as the Church’s Jubilee Year. Together, we became “Pilgrims of Hope.” Also in 2025, in February, hundreds of faithful Catholics in the area participated in an expansive Eucharistic Pilgrimage, visiting five different Parishes for a day of Eucharistic Processions, Prayer, Adoration, and Mass. In March 2024, more than 1,400 of the Diocese’s faithful participated in a Diocesan Eucharistic Conference in Fort Myers. A year earlier, in March 2023, more than 4,400 attended a two-day Youth Rally and Eucharistic Congress, also in Fort Myers. Over the course of these events, together, we have shared the beauty of the Catholic Faith and its Sacraments. Thank you! We hope you’ll plan to join us next time! Stay tuned!
