Join us for the FIRST Frassati Society North meeting!
The Frassati Society is a group for young adults (ages 18-39) in the Diocese of Venice, which follows the active spirituality of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati. As a young man (who died at 24 years old), Bl. Pier Giorgio was an athlete who loved to encounter God through activities and people. This is a group to come together as Catholics in an active young adult outreach, reaching out to young adults and offering them the community they long for in the environment that enriches them!
We will be having a Frassati group in the North and one in the South in the Diocese
For the first meeting in the North, we will meet at 10 AM at Incarnation in Sarasota – we will then carpool (get there on time! we’re leaving at 10:15!!!) to Robinson Preserve in Bradenton.
There will be Mass together as a group (with Fr. Shawn Roser), kayaking, food, and fun! Free of charge! This is a great time to bond and in a way modeled after the spirituality of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati (and JPII!!).
Come and invite your friends! Please RSVP as to have a decent idea of a headcount! Respond on the Facebook event, email mazrin@dioceseofvenice.org, or call!
No official end time, but will likely be there all afternoon.
