The Diocese of Venice Office of Youth and Young Adult Outreach is working with the Diocesan Institute for Catholic Studies and Formation to provide ongoing theological and catechetical training for Youth Directors and Adult Volunteers.
Currently the institute offers a blended distance learning degree in conjunction with Franciscan University of Steubenville. The Master of Catechetic and Evangelization provides a unique opportunity to take four graduate level pre-requisite courses either onsite, or through live video conferencing while completing the rest of the degree via distance learning taught by Franciscan’s internationally acclaimed faculty. The institute’s courses are less expensive and allows the student to have the traditional classroom experience for a portion of their degree.
