Throughout the Diocese of Venice there are two ongoing programs that address the individual needs of Catholic women and men.
For women seeking a program that engages the deepest longings of the feminine heart, many parishes are now offering She Shall Be Called Woman (SHE). It’s a place for women who want to be truly known and loved on their journey with the Lord.
For men looking for a forum to honestly address the pressures and temptations that face men in modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers, That Man is You! (TMIY) is available.
The SHE series is open to all women at no charge and includes fellowship, a video presentation, and meaningful small-group discussion. Through engaging conversations, authentic speakers, and enriching prayer experiences, participants gain deeper insight into Sacred Scripture, theological truths, and practical wisdom for daily life.
SHE transforms:
- Women’s hearts so that they discover the profound depths of the feminine heart;
- Relationships with God and other people;
- Ordinary life into a story of extraordinary grace;
- Daily living so that women imitate the 10 virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
TMIY serves to bring men together as a “band of brothers in Christ” in encouragement and support of one another to fulfill their crucial roles in the family, the Church, and society.
TMIY Is designed to:
- Facilitate a personal encounter and relationship with Jesus Christ;
- Meet men wherever they are in their spiritual lives and help them take one step further;
- Turn the hearts of fathers to their spouse and children;
- Form authentic leaders capable of transforming their families and greater society;
- Form bonds of friendship and fellowship that strengthen the parish community;
- Provide a long-term solution for men’s ministry and ongoing formation with more than 10 years of content.
There is no requirement to attend either SHE or TMIY each week, and anyone can drop in at any time during the length of the program. Also, participants do not need to be a registered member of the host parish to attend.

The men’s program serves to bring men together as a “band of brothers in Christ” in encouragement and support of one another to fulfill their crucial roles in the family, the Church, and society.
The weekly gatherings will run for 26 sessions through April 2025. The program is free, with no registration. In addition, there is no requirement to attend each week, and men can drop in at any time during the length of the program. Also, participants do not need to be a registered member of the host Parish to attend.
