Join others in praying for an end to abortion from March 5 through April 13 in the Diocese of Venice.
40 days for Life is an international 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses. Campaigns are held in the spring and in the fall. In the Diocese of Venice, 40 Days for Life campaigns are held in three locations: Sarasota, Fort Myers, and Naples. Spring Campaign Closing Event, Jericho Walk, Sunday April 13, 4:15 p.m.
Join us for our 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign Closing Event, Jericho Walk, Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 4:15 p.m. Meet at the parking lot of Community Pregnancy Clinic, 1419 7th Street, Sarasota. Just as Joshua and the Israelites did to bring down the walls of Jericho, we will walk around the block of Sarasota Planned Parenthood seven times in silent prayer, praying to God to bring down the walls around hearts to end abortion in Sarasota, in Florida and in the U.S. You are welcome to attend but not walk or walk only part of the way. (Note: Block is .25 miles). In addition to the prayer walk there will be scripture readings, prayer, and a recap of the spring campaign, including where we go from here.
